Ocho puentes modulares serán entregados en La Libertad
Veintidós de los 98 puentes cuya construcción fue adjudicada por el MTC a la metalmecánica peruana ESMETAL, serán entregados antes del plazo previsto y tendrían por destino Piura, Cajamarca, La Libertad, Lambayeque e Ica.
ESMETAL, empresa metalmecánica peruana ganadora de la buena pro para suministrar 98 puentes modulares (39 a entregar en Paita y 59 en Lima, en los almacenes del MTC) para la recupe-ración de vías terrestres afectadas por el Fenómeno del Niño costero, informó que se compromete a entregar 22 de estos puentes antes de fin de año, es decir, antes del plazo establecido por el Ministerio de Transportes y Comunicaciones. “Las bases establecen un plazo de 90 a 120 días, pero considerando que las regiones más afectadas necesitan recuperar su conectividad cuanto antes, dispondremos la entrega de 22 puentes lo más pronto posible”, declaró el gerente general de la empresa, DiegoAguirre.
Según cifras del Centro de Operaciones de Emergencia Nacional (COEN), el fenómeno del Niño costero causó el colapso de 159 puentes en todo el país. En la Libertad, los puentes a reemplazar con las nuevas estructuras
serían Puente Río Negro, Puente Río Blanco, Puente Chilca, Puente el Jardín, Puente Chimchivarra, Puente Piedra, Puente Unigambal y Puente Gasheragra.
